Mend in Public Event @ Lexington

**Offsite location - Town Tent, Lexington Farmers' Market, Worthen Road Practice Field

Join Cary Library and LexZeroWaste for a fun, beginner-friendly Mend-in-Public event!  Members of the LexZeroWaste textile working group will be making zokin—Japanese-style cleaning cloths—by repurposing old fabric. Come learn a new skill and leave with the confidence to extend the life of your textiles! No experience needed, and all materials are provided. We will have a few chairs but feel free to bring your own.  If you can’t stay, don’t worry!  The group will have zokin kits for you to take-and-make at home (supplies are limited).

Stay tuned for more Mending-in-Public events
